Councillor Dan Adams gets on his bike for Mayor’s Charity

Dan Adams - Padding RequiredTraining has begun in earnest for St. Paul’s Councillor, Dan Adams as he gears up for a 170 mile charity cycle ride following the route of the M25 (using A & B roads)

Dan, of Portesbery Road, said: “Local charity is very close to my heart, and believe all local charities are in desperate need of funds to continue their great work.

The Mayor’s chosen charities this year are Alzheimer’s Café Camberley, Parity for Disability and Sebastian’s Action Trust”

He continued: ‘I’m not a keen cyclist, nor a great lover of exercise, but I’m now training myself for the challenge of riding 170 miles along with my brother beginning in Camberley then following the M25 around London before ending back in Camberley over the weekend of 10/11 October 2015.”

Dan is hoping to raise £2,000 for the Mayor’s Charity and can be sponsored at:

He is urging people to keep up with his training progress and follow him on the day of the ride on Twitter @PickledDan. Updates will also be posted on
