Bisley hosts the splendid 10th anniversary Hot Rod Hayride

A great photo blog from the Editor of the #Lightwater blog Tim Dodds.

The Hot Rod Hayride gets bigger and better by the year. What doesn’t change is the friendliness of the Hayriders. The Hot Rod Hayride runs from July 25th to 27th at the National Shooting Centre, Bisley

Blessed by lovely sunny weather on Saturday meant everyone was happy and relaxed, except those caught inside serving food and refreshments, who wanted to be outside lying on the grass. We visited the Hayride last year, at which I bought a Reyn SpoonerHawaiian shirt – you can see an image of it in the window glass in the photo I took of happy American pick-up occupants.

Nothing much doing for us locals. You have to book well in advance to camp for the entire weekend. No day tickets at all. Shame as I have seem some of the cars cruising in the area and they look fantastic. Would be nice if they opened up to public on the last day at least.
