Witnesses sought following collision in Frimley

A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision in Frimley earlier this afternoon (22 July).

Surrey Police was called to Frimley Road around 4pm following reports of the collision, involving a silver Renault Clio and a black Volkswagen Polo.

It is believed that the two cars came into contact with each other, and then the Clio has left the road and collided with a tree.

The female driver of the Clio, who is in her 80s, is believed to have suffered fractures to her arm and ankle, as well as cuts and bruising, and has been taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting.

The road remains partially closed whilst emergency services deal with the incident and the vehicles are recovered.
