Marie Curie Cancer Care looking for volunteers to help with collections

Marie Curie Cancer CareI am appealing for people to volunteer for Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Great Daffodil Appeal and help make it a success. The appeal takes place in March and planning for the local collections is already under way. We are looking for people to help us by standing and collecting for the charity at various shopping sites around Camberley.

Marie Curie Nurses provide free care for terminally ill people in their own homes. They see first hand what it means for patients to have the choice of where to spend their final days, surrounded by family and friends, which is why the Great Daffodil Appeal is so important.

Donating your time to the appeal will allow Marie Curie Nurses to provide more free care to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes.

We’ve got a role for everyone so, whether you’ve got a couple of hours or a couple of days a week to spare, please get in touch.

We have so many collections over the weekend of 9-11 March I really need to get some more people involved. This is our schedule:

  • The Meadows – Fri 9 and Sat 10 March
  • Frimley – Sat 10 Mar
  • Sainsbury’s Watchmoor Park – Fri 9 and Sat 10 Mar
  • Longacres – Sat 10 and Sun 11 Mar

Thanks in advance for your support
